Week 3 à July 6-9, 2010 “Shooting School”
*Filmed shooting analysis & individual shooting technique training provided!
*Each camper will watch themselves on video while a HS coach provides feedback!

entering the 2nd – 9th in Sept. 2010 can enroll in this session.

GBMS Hours 8:30am – 3:30pm -- ‘Early drop-off’ begins at 8:30 each morning & ‘late pick-up’ runs until 3:30 every day. A half-hour of supervised, free-shooting is included before and after the six hours of organized camp instructional time. Structured camp schedule runs from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Teaching Objective: Campers will receive precise training on shooting the basketball. The fundamentals of proper hand and elbow placement will be stressed. Campers will also participate in both competitive games & fun drills that reinforce solid footwork & mechanics while practicing shooting at game speed.
Philosophy: Instruction, fun, fitness, skill development, & sportsmanship are all integrated.

Camp Notes: Each camper will receive our ‘Camp Notes’ at the conclusion of each camp session. This document will contain the areas of teaching and instruction from the week in an outline format.
Lunch & Camp Bank: Campers may bring lunch or buy lunch from our Camp Store. Pizza slices, drinks, & snacks will be sold daily. Parents may deposit money in the ‘Camp Bank’ and we will subtract funds each day as the campers move through the lunch line. New for 2010…Purell hand sanitizer, free!
